By answering this 5 minute survey before end of May, you will help us mapping social and circular value chains in Europe.
We're conducting this questionnaire to identify and map social enterprises operating in the textile industry across Europe. Our goal is to increase the visibility of these enterprises, promote collaboration among them, and facilitate connections with larger brands or organizations.
What do we mean by “social enterprises” in this context? These are commercial entities, NGOs, and cooperatives in the textile sector that integrate a social component into their activities. This might involve hiring individuals from vulnerable backgrounds, advocating for their inclusion in the workforce, or acting against the negative environmental impacts of the textile industry. They often prioritize social and environmental goals alongside economic ones.
Why Are We Doing This?
- Facilitating Connections: We aim to bridge the gap between larger brands and smaller social enterprises, fostering partnerships based on shared values beyond mere profit.
- Promoting Sustainability: By creating a centralized map, we provide a platform for social enterprises to be easily identified by those interested in sustainability. This helps consumers find textile products with minimal environmental impact.
Who Should Respond?
- Social Enterprise Owners: If you own or operate a social enterprise within the textile industry, your input is invaluable in helping us create a comprehensive map.
- Clients and Supporters: If you're a customer who values sustainability or if you know of social enterprises making a positive impact, we welcome your recommendations to ensure they're included in our mapping efforts.
