OUR PROJECTS

This Erasmus+ project (ID: KA-210-VET) aims to bring together a network of vocational schools and training centers with textile laboratories, producers and enterprises in France, Germany, Italy and Turkey, in order to pave the way for the knowledge transfer from the practice (business) to the education (schools, training centers), thereby updating the curricula and skills of designer students with relevant know-how on innovative and sustainable materials.

This the second round of the small-scale partnerships in vocational education and training, to bring together vocational schools and training centers with textile laboratories, producers and enterprises.

Our main activities will be based on study visits to partners in Italy and Turkey and invitations of experts from Germany to virtual meetings, in order to exchange and get insights into the innovative developments of textile and leather or challenges that the industry face.

Our main outcomes:

• Establish VET-business network, between the project partners and the business/ industry and research side from Turkey, Italy and Germany

• Elaborate trends and innovations in the textile and leather industry (vegan leather included) in partner countries, through descriptions of the situation from economical, ecological and social sustainability perspective, published in form of synthesis e-report.

• Create tangible products e.g. textile/ leather/ vegan leather encyclopedia and toolkit, with didactical materials and descriptions with up-to-date information.
