WHO WE ARE

HISTORY

CEDECS SARL, created in 1987, mainly worked until 2004 on market studies in the telecoms sector, development of software and IT services and distance training for European SMEs.

From 2004, the activity refocused on the conduct of R&D projects, advice and service for SMEs in the textile-clothing sector, in collaboration, until 2012, with the IFTH (French Institute of Textile Clothing) and other French, Italian, Greek and Cypriot partners and customers after 2012.

Cedecs-TCBL SAS succeeded CEDECS SARL in 2020 and is based on a multidisciplinary and multinational team of associated experts. The team supports the transformation of the textile-clothing sector towards a sustainable, united and circular sector in the continuity of the TCBL (Textile & Clothing Business Labs) project, and with the network it has created since 2015: more than 50 laboratories of innovation (for alternative systems integrating ecology, economy and society), more than 250 companies (to test and refine these innovations in real conditions, with a view to their scaling up) and online development platforms of this network.
